Micheline Gavel

GAVEL, Micheline Age 92, of Horseheads, NY passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Micheline was born in Dubois, PA on June 3, 1926, daughter of the late Nicholas and Victoria (Pasierb) Misko. Micheline was also predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 2004, siblings, Ardel, Mary, Marcella, Eleanor, Ted and Ad. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Ettenberger and Sandra (Richard) Bates; grandchildren, Michael, Victoria (Michael) and Joseph (Taryn); great grandchildren, Morgan, Jenna and Payton; several nieces and nephews. Micheline will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. It was Micheline’s wish for no services to be held for her. Arrangements have been entrusted with the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
