Nancy M. Ginnetti

Nancy M. Ginnetti Age 97, of Breesport, N.Y., formerly of Elmira, N.Y. passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at home. She was the daughter of the late Cataldo and Minnie Corsi. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 74 years, Henry E. Ginnetti of Breesport, N.Y.; daughter, Phyllis (Charles) Dahlhaus of Breesport, N.Y.; son, Ronald (Christine) Ginnetti of Kimbolton, Ohio; six grandchildren, Michelle (John) Adams, of Vicksburg, MI; Brent (Tracey) Dahlhaus of Medina, N.Y., Michael Ginnetti of Bowling Green, Ohio, Fr. Nicholas Ginnetti of Steubenville, Ohio, Maria Ginnetti of Lander, Wyoming and Christopher (Casey) Ginnetti of Kimbolton, Ohio; seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sister-in-law, Rose Corsi, of Bethlehem ,Pa; several nieces, nephews and cousins; God children, Bart Mandarano, Susan Hostetter, Roseanne Scattene and Carol Moreno. Nancy is predeceased by her parents and brother, Eugene Corsi. Nancy’s faith was very important to her. She attended daily Mass for years before becoming ill. As a child and young adult, she attended the Epiphany Catholic Church in Sayre, Pa. Moving to Elmira, she was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Church for 67 years. She loved her home and family and was always baking cookies for everyone she would visit, not to mention collecting recipes from everyone she knew. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to all who cared and prayed for Nancy. Family and Friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home, 1004 Lake Street, Elmira, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 10 a.m. in St Mary’s Church, 224 Franklin Street, Elmira, N.Y. with Fr. Nicholas Ginnetti as celebrant. Interment, with committal prayers will be held to the convenience of the family in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.
