VOORHEES, Nicole K. On Wednesday, May 19th 2021, Nicole’s spirit unexpectedly departed from this earth, leaving her beloved family, friends and plants behind. Nicole was born in Elmira, NY on April 22, 1975 and is survived by her mother, Renee Kline, father, James Voorhees, daughter, Shantelle Voorhees, son, Marcel Voorhees, granddaughters, Willow and Jade as well as her extended family. Although we are deeply saddened and hurt by your early departure, we choose to remember the beauty Nicole carried within her and the blessed memories we were able to create together. We choose to remember your willingness to help others, your ability to speak love, your softness and your toughness. Nicole, we hope you find peace and healing in your next chapter and that our love finds you wherever you may go. Family and friends are invited to call Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7pm. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
