Patricia A. Bogart

July 24, 1950 — April 28, 2024

Our beloved Patricia Ann Bogart, 73, of Elmira, NY, gracefully gained her wings on April 28, 2024, and is now healed in the hands of the Lord. Patricia, born on July 24, 1950, in Elmira, NY, to Esther and Raymond Kinner Sr, was 1 of 9 brothers and sisters. Patricia was married for 25 years to David Bogart Sr, and together they were blessed with two children, Sally Daniels (Bogart) and David R Bogart Jr, who sadly passed in 1990. Patricia’s vibrant spirit led her through a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community. In her youth, Patricia was deeply involved in coaching youth softball teams, line dancing, and camping adventures with her extensive family. She dedicated herself to her children, actively participating in their lives while working at Spencer Van-Etten School district as a baker and later at Purolator. An adventurer at heart, Patricia loved to travel, dance at the American Legion, and attend local bingo events. She found joy in crafting, fishing, hunting, and cooking, often sharing her talents with local nursing homes and the VFW. She thoroughly enjoyed going to local plant auctions with her daughter Sally and creating a beautiful garden for everyone to see. Throughout the week, Patricia enjoyed playing Euchre and bowling, winning numerous 1st place trophies. Her love for family extended across generations, as she cherished spending time with her granddaughter, Jessica Roldan (Parmarter), and her great granddaughters, Emelia and Olivia Roldan, whom she adoringly called her “beautiful girls.” Patricia’s selfless nature endeared her to all who knew her, and her infectious smile and laughter brought light to every gathering. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate. Predeceased by her parents Esther and Raymond Kinner Sr, son David (Davey) Bogart Jr, ex-husband David Bogart Sr, brothers Lawrence (Larry) Kinner and William Kinner, sisters Darlene Shaul (Kinner) and Donna Frisbie (Kinner), and sister-in-law Kathy Kinner (Luther), Patricia leaves behind a legacy of loved and cherished memories. She is survived by her daughter Sally Daniels (Erik) of Killeen, TX, granddaughter Jessica Roldan (Anthony) of Harker Heights, TX, great-granddaughters Emelia and Olivia Roldan, sisters Bonnie Mathews (Roy) of Van-Etten, NY, brothers Raymond Kinner Jr (Debbie) of Pine City, NY, Mark Kinner of Wellsburg, NY, and Michael Kinner (Kathy) of Lake Wales, FL. Patricia is also survived by numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather and honor the remarkable life of Patricia Ann Bogart. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her warmth and love.
