Paul R. Kirschke

Kirschke, Paul R. Age 97, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in Pinellas Park, FL. He was born on January 24, 1921 in Broomfield, NY to the late Max and Agnes Kirschke. He was predeceased by his wife Ellen (Lester) Kirschke in 1962. Paul is survived by his sons, Paul (Kathy) Kirschke Jr. and Michael (Kelley) Kirschke; daughters, Carol Rafferty and Barbara (Jim) Burns; longtime companion, Clara Wishneska; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews and bowling buddy, Wayne Allington. Paul was a veteran of the US Army during WWII. He was an avid golfer and bowler. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, February 5th from 12 to 1 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow there at 1 p.m. with Rev. Betsey Crimmins officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn National Cemetery with full military honors.
