Renee L. Savino

Savino, Renee L. “Nea” Age 54, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 after an extended illness. She was predeceased by her mother, Dolores Savino and brother, Michael Savino Jr. Renee is survived by her son, Branden Hughes and his fiancé, Rosemary Baker; grandchildren, Aidan and Sophia Hughes and their mother, Emily Walborn; father, Michael Savino Sr.; brothers, Joe (Karen) Savino, Jim (Sue) Savino and Mark (Mary Beth) Savino; sisters, Michelle (Jim) Allen and Maribeth Savino; along with several nieces and nephews. Renee’s greatest joy was her son and grandchildren and she loved spending time with her best friend and sister, Maribeth and her Dad. She enjoyed working with her Dad in his garden and liked taking him and the family to fireworks. Renee always liked making people laugh. Family and friends always told her she should have been a stand-up comedian. A memorial service for Renee will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd at 11 a.m. in the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church.
