Richard B. Sr. Grant

Grant, Richard B. Sr. Age 65, of Rochester, NY, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at his daughter’s home with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his daughter, Cheyenne Grant and brothers, Wayne and Timothy Grant. Richard is survived by his sons, Richard Jr., Steven and Charles Grant; daughters, Crystal Batista, Tammy Grant, Veleta (Sam) Stevens and Betty Grant; brother, Darrell (Donna) Grant; sisters, Darlene, Brenda and Rebeckah; fiancé and great love, Tasha Doane and her children, Courtney, Makayla and Anthony and granddaughter, Nevaeh; first wife and good friend, Veleta “Lea” Evans; sister-in-law, Sandy Grant; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. He retired as a mechanic and he loved motorcycles and woodworking. Richard was very loved by his family, growing closer with them over the last few years. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Richard on Tuesday, December 4th at 6 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
