Richard C. Sr. Weideman

Weideman, Richard C. Sr. Age 93, of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Elderwood Senior Care in Waverly, NY. Richard was born in Delphos, OH on November 9, 1924, son of the late Leda and Pearl (Daniels) Weideman.Richard served his country proudly as a Corpral the US Air Force stationed in Germany during WWII. He retired from Ithaca Gun Company in Ithaca, NY. Richard is survived by his son, Richard (Cindy) Weideman Jr.; granddaughters, Jodi (Patrick) Crouse, Carrie Weideman, Lisa Weideman (Stephen) and Kelly (Jerid) Allington; great grandchildren, Lauren, Sidney, Claire, Julia, Peyton, Dillon, Emma and Ava; many nieces and nephews. Family would like to thank the Elderwood “family” for the love and care given to “Pops” during his stay. In lieu of flowers in donations in memory of Richard can be made to the Elderwood Senior Care Center. A private burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial park at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
