Lee graduated from Horseheads HS in 1966 and went on to work at Rimco Plastics and Patterns as his first job. Later, Lee began working at Belvac Production Machinery in Lynchburg, VA, where he remained for over 30 years until his retirement. Even after he retired, he continued as a consultant for Belvac. In retirement, Lee also worked as a school bus driver. Lee enjoyed being and working outside, golfing, fishing, hunting, and riding a motorcycle, watching NASCAR and football, and was an avid Washington Redskins (Commanders) fan. He also enjoyed breeding and raising dogs and always had one close by his side. Lee had several close, lifelong friends.

A private gathering to celebrate Lee's life is being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Virginia Tech College of Veterinary Medicine: https://giving.adv.vt.edu/gift?referrer=apps.es.vt.edu&referrer_source=&fund=873921

The family would also like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the medical and nursing staffs at both Robert Packer Hospital and Corning Centers for Rehabilitation, for the wonderful care and compassion provided during Lee's final days.
