Robert A. Haight

Haight, Robert A. Age 89, passed away on Sunday April 22, 2018 at Bethany Manor. He was born on July 4, 1928 in Sayre, PA to the late Leon and Rosalie (Hugo) Haight. He was predeceased by his wife Betty Haight, son, Billy Haight, sister, Clara McLeod and brother, Kenneth Haight. Robert is survived by his children, Linda (Butch) Morgan, Jeanie (Ed) Masone and Paul Haight; loving sister and caretaker, Carolyn Coons and sister, Sandy (Rocco) Picarazzi; brother-in-law, Donald McLeod; along with several grandchildren and nieces and nephews and special friend, Linda West. Robert was a veteran of the US Navy during World War II and retired from US Steel Bridgeworks in Elmira after many years of service. He loved to hunt and also fish on Seneca Lake.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 26th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place there at 1 p.m. with Rev. James Crupi officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery with full military honors.
