Robert L. Henry

Age 96, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Tuesday. April 28, 2026, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born on July 28, 1929, in Buffalo, NY to the late Roy and Dorothy Henry. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Henry, grandson, Mikie Phillips, brothers, Jack and Donald Henry and sisters, Marge Copp, Jean Henry and Alice Dame. Bob is survived by his son, Robert J. (Deborah) Henry of Owego, NY; daughter, Dorothy (J. Mike) Phillips of Horseheads; brother, Richard (Catherine) Henry of NJ; grandchildren, Jennifer Henry, Patrick Henry, Brian henry, Ben Phillips and Robert (Philecia) Phillips; great-grandson, Hudson Phillips; along with several special nieces and nephews. Bob was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War and retired from RKB Enterprises after many years of service. He was a member of the Elmira Heights American Legion and volunteered for the Handicap Bowling League. Bob loved sports, especially horseshoes and softball and was especially proud of seeing his great-grandson play baseball. Private services will take place at the convenience of the family.
