Robert A. Herrick

Herrick, Robert A. “Bubba” Age 74, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Robert Packer Hospital. He was born on October 18, 1949 in Elmira, NY to the late Paul “Snooky” and Laura Herrick. Robert was predeceased by his brother, Paul “Porky” Herrick and sister, Mary Theresa Jenkins. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Roberta “Bertie” (Sardo) Herrick; children, Colleen (Mark) Stokoe, Veronica “Roni” Herrick, Rob (Erin) Herrick and Christina (Patrick) Overdorff; brother, Jimmy Herrick; grandchildren, Alexis Herrick, Ty Niles, Lucas Herrick, Jake Herrick-Martin, Olivia Herrick, Allyson Shaw, Ava Herrick, Jackson Overdorff and Maxine Overdorff; along with several nieces and nephews. Robert was a longtime member of the Pine City Sportsman’s Club and the IA Motorcycle Club. He was an avid hunter, fisher and Steelers fan. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, May 21st from 3 to 7 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow there at 7 p.m. with Father John DeSocio officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Robert’s name to a local charity of one’s choice.
