Robert L. Plate

PLATE, Robert L. Age 81, of Horseheads, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2022. Robert was born in Elmira, NY on March 6, 1941, son of the late Frederick and Mary (Tice) Plate. Robert was also predeceased by his wife, Wanneta, daughter, Pam Reynolds, son, Stanley Swartout and 11 siblings. Robert retired from Anchor Glass in Elmira Heights after many years of service. He is survived by his daughter, Shelley (Eugene) Pack; grandchildren, Rocky and Robert Porter, along with 3 other grandchildren; great grandchildren, Natalie and Adelina; sister, Elsie (Everett) Shock. Roberts' wishes were for no services to be held. Arrangements are with the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
