Robert E. Vandeusen Sr.

VanDeusen, Robert E. Sr. Age 86, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Elcor Health Services. He was born on July 29, 1934 to the late Raymond and Winifred VanDeusen. Robert was predeceased by his wife, Myrtie VanDeusen, son, Terry VanDeusen and grandson, Timmy Effland. He is survived by his sons, Robert Jr., George and Ronald VanDeusen and Andrew and David (Mary) Meade; daughters, Tina VanDeusen, Bonnie (Sidney) Dupuis and Karen (Marc Lynch) Cadek; grandchildren, Heather (Brittanie Moyer) Effland, Crysta (Michael) Oakley, Brandi (Michael) Carr, Koreena Smith, Amber (Brad) Vinesick, Nicole (Jason) Foster, Jimmy (Shannon) Brownfield, Angela (Scott) Burgess and Daniel (Joanna) Meade; many great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank the staff at Elcor, especially Ashley Horton and Aubrey Haynes for the wonderful care given to Robert. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
