Roger G. Flasphaler

Flasphaler, Roger G. Age 77, Horseheads, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at home with his family by his side. He was born on May 2, 1948, in Elmira, NY to the late David and Elizabeth (Cone) Flasphaler. Roger was predeceased by grandsons, Garrett Russell and Dylan Couch and brother-in-law, Ray Rowse. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Deborah (Osenbaugh) Flasphaler; daughter, Gretchen (Robert) Flasphaler- Bagley; step-children, Todd (Denise) Parker, Joy Russell, Richard (Brittany) Jochem and Jodie (Samantha) Jochem; brother, Mark (Bonnie) Flasphaler; sister, Diane Rowse; grandchildren, Alexandra (Anna) Bagley, Caleb (Jessica) Bagley, Skylar Bagley, Michele Parker, Joseph Parker, Amanda Ireland, Peytonmae Jochem, Richelle Jochem, Richard Jochem, Felicity Jochem and Braedon Jochem; great-grandchildren, Adalyn Bagley and Evan Briggs; along with several nieces and nephews. Roger was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from NYSEG after many years of service as a Senior Lineman. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 18th from 6 to 7 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Graveside services for Roger will take place on Friday, September 19th at 11 am in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with full military honors.
