Age 69, passed away due to a long illness on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Solomon was born on August 24, 1956, in Elmira, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Solomon Sr. and Vivion (Odom) Morgan. brother, Glenn Odom and his sister, Geri (Odom) Potter. Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Nevi Jo Morgan; daughter, Tycie Morgan, siblings, Pearline (Bland Sr.) Morgon-McArthur, Helen (Odom) Brooks and Simon (Shelby Ann) Morgan; nieces and nephews, Kristen Odom, Corey (Nicole) Odom, JacQueen (Mario) Williams, Mahogany Brooks, Roslynn Coleman, Jeremiah Odom, Bishop Odom, Bland McArthur Jr. and Jasmine Brooks; along with a host of In-laws, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 11am to 12pm in Faith Temple Community Church, 722 Standish St., Elmira, NY 14901. Funeral services will follow at 12 pm with Pastor Kale Mann officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daron Driscoll, Shyquan Williams, Tavis Brooks, Bishop Odom, Bland McArthur and Elijah Brown. Arrangements are with the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
