Sue E. Teets

Teets, Sue E. Age 75, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on June 24, 1950, in Elmira, NY to the late James and Jean Schmidt. Sue was predeceased by her son, Adam Teets and daughter, Jill (Janeski) Brown. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Joseph Teets; sons, Jimmy Janeski, Michael Janeski Jr. and Mike (Kim) Teets; daughter, Lisa (Teets) Morton; grandchildren, Brianna Costley, Andrew Costley, Carley Costley, Alex Janeski, Zack Janeski, Dylan Barber, Mikalynn Sue Janeski, Mike Teets, Blake Teets, Ava Janeski, Austin Janeski, Jaxon Janeski and Isaiah Brown; longtime friend, Bernice (Greg) Haskell. Sue received her GED from BOCES and graduated from their cosmetology program. She was also a drug and alcohol counselor for New Dawn. Family and friends are invite to attend a calling hour on Wednesday, October 15th from 6 to 7 pm at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Horseheads, NY. A memorial service will follow at 7 pm.. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
