Thomas A. Savino

Savino, Thomas A. Age 89, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Elcor Health Services. He was born on May 27, 1932 in Elmira, NY to the late Frank and Mary Savino. He was predeceased by his son, Robert Savino, brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Shirley Baker, sister and brother-in-law, June and Horton McClure and nephew, Craig Baker. Tom is survived by his wife, Janice (Baker) Savino; son, David (Leah) Savino; sisters-in-law, Carol (John) Weston and Joyce Baker; brother-in-law, Glenn Baker; 2 granddaughters; along with several nieces and nephews. Tom was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. and retired after many years of service from the US Postal Service in Elmira. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 24th at 11:30 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church with Father Richard Farrell as celebrant. Interment will follow in Woodlawn National Cemetery with full military honors.
