Viva M. Kress

Kress, Viva M. Age 81, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. She was born in Sayre, PA on August 5, 1940 to the late Frank and Evelyn Tongue. Viva was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Kress Sr. on January 12, 2022 and son, Douglas Hubbard. She is survived by her children, Marietta (Dawn) Kress, Kim Kress, Clifford Kress Jr. and Deanna (Lauren) Kress; grandchildren, Clifford Kress III, Nicole Kress, Erika Kress and Evan Paluch; many great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Viva loved her Knick knacks and knew when one was out of place. She also loved her flowers and hummingbirds. Viva enjoyed dancing and listening to Neil Diamond and going to the casino with her daughter, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, January 31st from 11 am to 1 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place there at 1 pm with Pastor Justin Coffin officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
