William Mcgee Sr.

McGee, William Sr. Age 80, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Hew born on June 29, 1940 in Chauncey, GA to the late Ashley and Mattie McGee. William was predeceased by his grandmother, Mary Johnson, brother, Walter McGee and sister-in-law, Sarah McGee. He is survived by his son, William McGee Jr. of Elmira; daughters, Angelia McGee, Robin (Steven) Sweeting and Marinda Eastman all of Elmira; brother, Robert Lee McGee of GA; sister, Mary Heard of Elmira; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, June 22nd from 11 am to 12 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place there at 12 pm. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
