Willie J. Knight

KNIGHT, Willie J. Age 65, of Elmira, NY passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Willie was born in Howell, GA on June 1, 1955, son of the late Tommie and Annie (Richardson) Knight. Willie was also predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy Knight and Virginia Shazer, brothers, Willie C., Tommie and Eugene Knight and niece, Amber Knight. Willie is survived by daughter, Alicia Hurst; sons, James and Shawn (Constance) and Paul Barrett; companion, Louise Barrett; his sisters, Stella (James) Harvard, Eunice (Joseph) Washington and Vivian Knight; brother, Arthur Knight; many grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; host of nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 11am to 12pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12pm. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
