Yolanda L. Sapp - Alford

SAPP-ALFORD, Yolanda L. Age 41, of Elmira, NY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Yolanda was born in Elmira, NY on March 29, 1980 daughter of Willie and Olinda (Swarez) Sapp. Yolanda is survived by her children, Kennedi, Kendall, Ashley, Kentrell and Kenneth III; parents, Willie and Olinda Sapp; sisters, Rhoda Beckford, Nichelle (Ali) Lynch, Danielle (Kenny) Sapp and Anita Sapp; brother, Charles (Reba) Lynch; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held private to the family in Monumental Baptist Church with Pastor Corey Cook officiating. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. For those in attendance, please wear a mask due to Covid restrictions. In Lieu of flowers, donations in care of Kenneth and Yolanda’s children can be made to Olinda Sapp at 309 Catherine St., Elmira, NY 14904. Arrangements are with James D. Barrett Funeral Home.
